I loved the look of these shoes but they aren't really a wide shoe. We ordered a 7.5 W and my son's foot could barely squeeze in. He wears the Striderite wide shoes but Sperry wide must be different. We had to return them.

i ordered the 5W in this shoe for my son. all other wide width shoes have fit him just fine. these are just SO narrow. he couldn't get them on and wear them comfortably at all.
sadly i will have to return.

My son wears a 6W baby and I could barely get the shoe on his foot. It left red marks on his feet as well. The wide width is comparable to a medium width of any other shoe. If your child has wide feet then I do not recommend this shoe, otherwise it is a very very stylish and adorable shoe.

My son normally wears a wide width so I was so excited to see these came in wide. When we tried them on I couldn't even get his foot into them. These are NOT a wide shoe so they should not be advertised as wide.

These are a very cute shoe and I love how they come in a wide. However, the flap under the velcro does not give very much when putting a wide foot in and I assume it will stretch out more with time. Once my son's foot is inside the shoe it is wide, but my only complaint is about the flap under the velcro.
