Hard to find a shoe that was a size 4 real boot with a real sole. These fit the bill, I was a little overwhelmed by the price but, it is WORTH IT she has never worn a real shoe until these. Sturdy, good tread on the sole, keep her feet nice and warm.

Perfect First Boot!

I bought these for our 15 month old who hasn't been walking for too long now. I love that they will be warm for winter and will look great with most of her outfits including skirts and pants! You could use these for a boy too. She walks fine in them. One style note (which made me happy) is that the tuft of fur is visible when you wear the boot. I was hoping it was but you couldn't really tell from the photo. I am very happy with our purchase! Love the grip on the bottom for her first walking winter. I couldn't find that on boots elsewhere for her not to mention, Stride Rite was the only place I could find boots with grip in her size 4. Everywhere else seemed to start at 5. Another reason we keep coming back to Stride Rite!

This boot is perfect - my daughter is almost 2. She had a pair last winter and I loved them - they are cute, great quality, comfortable - she can wear them with jeans, leggings, skirts or dresses, they seemed warm for winter. I went to buy another pair this season and couldn't find them online, looked in the store and they were out of her size. I was heartbroken and looked at all the other shoe sites I could think of to find a comparable boot and I found nothing but a pair of Uggs that I didn't like as much and I also didn't want real sheepskin and of course they were more expensive. The store told me they were available online and I couldn't find them. I called customer service and they were FANTASTIC - told me there was a glitch and they should be available and they would call me back when they fixed the problem. They did, I ordered them and now my daughter already loves them and so do I! Thanks! I hope they are available next year!

I have been checking striderite.com for cute boots for my soon to be 2 year old daughter. I wanted something she could wear with dresses in the winter but I didn't want to settle with the cheap boots I had seen at other stores even though they were really cute. We swear by Stride Rite shoes, by the way. They never leave marks on her feet and she loves them too. Anyway, I came across these boots and ordered them right away. They are great! They fit well but don't make her feet sweat. Just as I would expect from Stride Rite - Perfect!

My young toddler loves her new boots. She even asks to wear them to daycare everyday. She also loves to wear them around the house when she's not wearing her slippers.
