Perfect fit and style for my grandson age 1, easy on easy off. Called rep for help with sizing since i could not get chart to print full size I
could only get 97%, no problem rep took his measurements over phone
and calculated the perfect fit for him. Thank you stride rite, for your wonderful customer service rep's.

I LOVE THIS SHOE! I have gotten my son this shoe every year and he loves it. They go with everything. I just wish that stride ride would keep making this shoe for my little man...they stop at size 7 :(

My son is 11 months old and just started walking. These are the first pair of shoes my son will keep on his feet. They are light weight and very flexible. They even seem to help him keep his balance. Great shoe and style.

We love the way our little man's new SRT Gavin Stride Rite's fit and he seems to love them too. He walks so tall and proud as soon as I set him down with his new shoes on. They seem to fit him very well, as he tends to have a wide foot. With this particular style, however, we didn't have to get XW. We've gotten lot of compliments from other mom's, too. We love Stride Rite!

This is a terrific first "real" shoe. I was concerned about it being too heavy or bulky (I purchased online without being able to see one first), but my 11 month old walks in them without any trouble! They match everything and go on easily. I haven't found any notes on how the CheckFit system works yet, but overall I am very pleased with the SRT Gavin.

These were on sale when I happened to be looking for shoes for my 17 mo old. Prior to getting these shoes, just about ALL the shoes he has would continually fall off. I was getting really tired of retrieving shoes and retracing steps to find them. These are great because they are easy on/off but stay ON. They are very breathable for summer w/ the mesh on the sides. I feel confident that my son's feet will be protected outdoors and I don't have to give it a second thought.

The great thing about all stride right shoes is there is no breaking in period. The Gavin is no exception. These went straight from the box onto the feet and the running commenced immediately. Easy to put on, light, and flexible. This was a great purchase.

I chose this style becuase of its price, sole flexibility, and color. My son tumbles easily so I was looking for a shoe that grips the ground without a stiff sole. I feel this shoe accomplishes both. I chose the color because it goes with most clothes and will not show wear as quickly.

I was hesitant to spend a lot of money on shoes that were barely going to be worn, and would be quickly outgrown, but my son (12 months) LOVES his Stride Rites! He used to fight putting his other shoes on, and would always trip and fall in them, but he walks with ease, and doesn't try to tear them off of his feet. In fact, he tries to put them on himself!! Worth every single penny! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!
