I bought these shoes for my grandaughter(9mos).Finally found shoes that stay on her feet and they are cute little "girly" shoes with the flowers.

Great shoes for early walking!

My daughter is slightly behind on her development and we were looking for a new shoe that was slightly harder on the bottom and a high top to help her balance. She was previously in the early-walker shoes and they worked great, but the soles were a little too soft once she started taking steps. I would say within a week of wearing these shoes she was taking 3, 4, 5 steps!!! These have definitely helped her with her balance, not to mention they are super cute and classic. I love the look of them and that they go with anything we put on her! I would definitely recommend these shoes for a baby who needs a little more support. Side note: she still crawls and I was worried about the toes wearing down (since her previous shoes definitely showed signs of wear, but were made for it), but they have held up well!

I love that these shoes go with everything. I wish they also had them in Velcro, as my daughter will untie them any chance she gets. I double knot them, but then struggle to get them untied quickly.

excellent shoes for new walker

This is the first pair of shoes we bought my daughter when she turned 1. When she started walking these shoes were sturdy enough and she had no problem walking in them at all. She HATES putting shoes on and will curl her toes so I have a really hard time getting shoes on her, but these are big enough that I can put her foot into them with her toes curled and she will uncurl them as soon as I stand her up to walk. So easy to get them on and off, laces long enough to double knot so she can't undo them. They are white so they get dirty but I can clean them easily. I also love the "classic" look of real baby shoes like these, like the ones I had when I was a baby! I just wish they came in more colors! Highly Recommend!

First Walking shoes

I always buy these first walkers for my Children and Grandchildren to help them support those ankles and feet while learning to walk. I learned about Stride Rite back when my first child had legs and feet issues as a baby from our podiatrist and I will continue to use stride rite as long as there are children grandchildren and before I know it Great grandchildren in my life.

This is my third child I have had to shop for baby shoes. I always shop at stride rite for their first walking shoe. I love the hightop that supports the ankle for added support. My daughter loves this shoe but it is easy for her to untie and pull off. But would recommend and do love the shoe. My daughter is 9 months but did have to get use to the weight of the shoe to walk in them. About 2 weeks later she can walk in her shoes where before barefoot she walked prior.

My daughter would not leave socks or shoes on. She is 10 months and starting to stand. This shoe has been great. I would be lying if I said she can't get these shoes off, because she can, but these definitely stay on her feet the majority of the time and way better than any others out there.

Both of my children learned to walk in StrideRite, and nothing but the best would do for my first grandchild. I purchased the Emilia, and she loves them. They are the only shoes she will keep on her feet without fussing and trying to pull them off. She is able to stand and get around better in her StrideRites.

wonderful little shoe for my daughter. it's hard to rate the comfort, when you're not the one wearing the shoe. but one thing is. she wears them all day and doesn't mess with them, or try to take them off. so they must be comfortable. one thing i have noticed is that the shoe "eats" her socks. i have tried different styles/brands of socks and it still happens. just something to be aware of... great quality for the price! this was my first shoe purchase and i am sold!

I bought this one in the store so we were able to get my 18 month old the correct size (6W). I love that this shoe can be dressy as well as casual. She looks adorable in it and seems to walk perfectly fine in it so I think she is very comfortable.

I have been going to stride rite for some time now, but my baby's feet were too small. Two weekends ago I went again, yes shes a size 3. Her first pair of stride rites. I told her now that you have your shoes, you will not get another pair until you start walking. She started walking 4 days later. Now we can shop for more stylist shoes. Thanks stride rite.....I grew up on the same shoes myself..

Problems With Short, Chubby~Wide Feet

If you have problems with Short, Chubby~Wide Feet... This is the shoe for your little tot! Love it! We had a problem with our little LoveBug walking on her tippy toes a lot, having a shoe that's comfortable on her foot that she enjoys has helped a lot. My only complaint is they didn't have more shoes that would fit her 6 EE or 6 EXTRA Wide feet. I was willing to drop $150~$200 on several pair, been everywhere. They had 2 different pair in stock. We are really happy with the way these seem to be wearing, no scuff marks & the finish is still intact! I really don't know how with our little monkey, but you definitely get what you pay for. These shoes are worth every penny!
