According to our podiatrist, this is one of the best shoes for adding a Thomas Heel. My daughter walks on the inside of her foot, so we are trying to get that straightened out. This is the second size of the exact same shoe that I've purchased for my 18 month old. I am pleased with her progress and so is the doctor.

I ordered these shoes on a saturday, and recieved them on tuesday. My only problem was the shoe strings. One was longer than the other. I called they shipped me out a pair of shoe strings, which was white, and the shoes are black. Once we got it right for the last time. A rep stated she will send me another pair of shoes. I love the shoes and so does my son. He has a black & white pair.

This is the perfect shoes for little ones as they gain experience walking... however, they just need to make this better for moms trying to take them on and off quickly - put a BIG VELCRO strap across the area where the laces are now! Most parents can't hassle with tying and untying these laces every time they need to do a diaper change or just change from indoor to outdoor clothing... besides the fact that little ones learn to pull the laces and untie the shoes all by themselves! Hopefully someone will get this soon and make another version of this wonderful little piece of footwear. If Stride Rite won't do it, I hope someone else will soon (as I'm pregnant with my second baby and will need these by next year).

I got the SRT Elliott in brown. My boy just loves them. He hops all around the kitchen with a big smile every time I put them on his feet. Therefore, they must be very comfortable. They are alos well made and stylish. Very handsome!

I ordered these shoes via on-line for my grandson. They arrived used. Bottom of shoe dirty, front of the shoes scuffed. Laces in disarray from too much tying, etc.
I am appalled at the carelessness of such a fine company. To think that I paid $50 for a pair of used shoes when I was to receive brand new.

Perfect for the unsteady walker

I got these for my son when he was 9 months old. He was such an unsteady walker. Much more concerned with everything behind him than in front of him. They were so good for his balance. He sees a physical therapist for an unrealted issue and his therapist even said these shoes were perfect for wobbly walkers.

My 2 and a half year old is now on his 5 pair of this shoe (and Grayson, which is basically the same shoe). I have just bought his final pair (because they don't come any larger) and I'm already sad. My son has very wide feet and these are the only shoes I have found to properly fit him. They go with everything and look great. I also get lots of comments about how cute they are and how they bring back good memories because apparently everyone my age and older wore this style of shoe when they were little. Love them!!

I have to say my son started walking alittle at 10mos, but he was alittle scared, so he would go back to crawling, my parents told me about these shoes and the support they will give him and they was so right. We brought the brown first, as soon as we pick them on my son, just as others have said he started really wakling more in these shoes, These shoes are the best. I must say due to my little one walking and crawling the shoes get alittle mark up, so that's we brought two pairs one brown and one black. What a great shoe.

This shoe has so much support for babies. My grandson is 13 months. He has a white pair and a black pair. He's only being walking for about a month. Now he's dancing in his shoes. The grippers at the bottom of the shoe keep him from sliding on my tile and hardwood floors.

I bought the brown ones for my son when he was 9 months old, and I loved them on his feet! They match everything, and they are durable! When he outgrew those, I then bought the black ones! And when he outgrew those, I bought the navy ones! My son is now 10 years old, but I saved these shoes because they are so cute! Now I have a 1 year old son, who is no enjoying his big brother's hand-me-downs! Durable! And still look like new!

My little guy has very thick feet along with being wide. I got them in xxw and they fit perfect. I couldn't find any other shoes that came in xxw. I was a little weary of the shoe, because it is a girls shoe. They look great on him and are actually pretty cute. They seem to be comfortable for him also. He is just walking now, so the ends of them are getting a little scuffed up when he crawls. Overall very nice shoe and perfect for thick wide feet!

I've bought these for my son at various ages. He's now 17 months and we have a black pair that he wears for "dress up". We've also had the brown version. This is a great shoe with classic styling and solves the problem of "what the heck will I put on his feet when he needs to be dressed up for a function/special occasion". My son has a high instep and very wide feet and the XW in these fits him perfectly. They look & fit great! I was very pleased to find these as it is very difficult to find classic styles among all the fun ones these days.
