Tight... but just what I was looking for

My 4 year old son has a "shoe thing" .. they must be very, very , very tight. We have been through all kinds of shoes and none are "tight" enough and would end up in a melt down. When I read the reviews of the "Sperry Top-Sider Nathaniel" I rushed out to get a pair. My son has not complained one bit. I think by having 4 holes (instead of 3) it makes his foot feel more secure. I will never buy any other shoe for him!!
I loved the look of this shoe (especially for church). Very classy. This was the first Sperry shoe I've ever ordered for my son and didn't know that they ran more narrow than most other stride-rites. After a little stretching, wearing thin socks, and a small "breaking in" time, the shoe does fit w/out a fuss (however the first time putting them on was challenging). I would make sure you order a wide size. But other than that we love this shoe!

Snazzy, but very narrow

These are beautiful high quality shoes, but run VERY narrow. My son wears a 8.5 W & I ordered a 9W, and they are EXTREMELY tight. He has a few other pairs of top siders, which run a little narrow, but these are the most narrow "wide width" shoes we have.
