My son wore these shoes when he was a toddler. They were the best ever. However, now that he is 5-1/2 his foot has changed and it now has become an XW. These shoes do not come in XW for boys 1.0, 1.5, and up. I like the velcro since lacing is still difficult.
Why can't Stride Rite make this shoe as an XW as well? There are a lot of kids with XW feet. Please consider this. I would buy these until he completely grows out of them (many years from now). I really love the shoe, except for the width.
Please consider making this shoe available for boys sizes in XW. I bet you would have a lot of customers.
Stride Rite are great shoes, but you definitely need to have more variety for boys in XW - I can't even buy nice sandals in XW.

I love these shoes. I have been buying this style for the past 3years. They are stylish and my son thinks they are comfortable. I hope they continue to offer them. I can not always find them in the stride rite branch locations, so I was happy to find that they are available on line.

Great pair of shoes! It is very hard to find shoes for my husband that are presentable because he wears a size 5 1/2, but Stride Rite had his size! This is the second pair that we have purchased and they are well worth every penny.
