My son is 2 now and he's only worn stride rite. Every single pair has been perfect and so comfortable for him! I only go with the SRT because the sole is very flexible which allows for extra comfort. I got these at Nordstroms for $28! Stride Rite should really be more competitive with their pricing...

My son was almost walking when I purchased these. I think they actually helped him with walking and balance. They seemed very comfortable and never left marks on his feet. However his feet did sweat in them and the shoe and his feet were a little stinky but I definitely liked this sandal.Wish they were a little cheaper so I could get more than just one pair

Very Hard Tongue on Shoe

Reading the reviews I had to get this shoe. It looks great but I was sad that it was an uncomfortable shoe for my son. Within the first 5 minutes of wearing the shoe he was pointing to his feet and whining. When I took them off I could see that they were rubbing the area on the bottom of his leg at the top of his foot where the tongue was scraping him. I felt the shoes tongue and it was very hard and rough. I purchased the SRT Dillan sandal at the same time and compared the two and the Dillan sandal had a soft tongue and was not at all uncomfortable. Maybe I got a bad pair or maybe socks are needed but the whole point of the sandal/shoe was to wear it without socks. Anyway, I returned the shoes.

GREAT summer shoe!

This the perfect shoe for your active little guy during warm months. My son is 16 months old and wears a 7W, this is the only shoe out of about 30 sandal type shoes we tried on that would even go on his foot. Plus this sandal is comfortable and will protect his feet which most others wont do. He wore a wide in his last pair but I should have ordered an XW...not sure if it's this shoe or just his feet :) you will not be sorry ordering this shoe!

I ordered the Draco in the brown/tan color twice and they still came out poor quality. The cuts on the fabric were jagged, the stitching sloppy, the sandal was too wide for being a medium width. I've always bought Stride Rites for my kids and was so surprised by how horrible these were. I returned them both.

I bought these for my 10 month old because he was starting to walk a little. His doctor said to get shoes with a bendable bottom, and they are just that. Great fro walking. He started walking a couple months after, and they were his favorite shoes to walk in. Definantly recommmend.

I work at a Stride Rite retail store in Springfield, IL, and I LOVE this shoe. I love to sell it, and I love to see return customers come in wearing these shoes wanting them in a bigger size. They're so comfortable on the kids, I've never had a child complain about wearing them and they always come back in well worn but still holding up very well! I enjoy selling them because they're an honest to goodness shoe that works for everyone. I wish they would send us more or at least make more in similar styles, I'd buy them for my own son next summer!

These were my son's first pair of Stride Rites, I acutally bought them in 2 sizes so he could wear them all summer. Matched with tons of outfits, had to retire the first pair cause his foot got so big and they were still holding up great. On to the second pair, still love them just as much as the first. Hope they bring these back next summer. Love them!

My son is 13 months old and not walking on his own yet. I wanted him to have a good shoe to try and walk around in. I heard about Stride Rite and got online to order since there is no store in NE. I called customer service to ask about sizing that helped a ton. Got the shoe in 5 business days and he has been wearing them since. Great shoe, lightweight, straps are just right, like the holes around the shoe so his feet dont get too hot.

This shoe is really lightweight. Its fabric is stretchy yet durable and lets the foot to be able to flaten out inside the shoe! My munchkin had a problem curling his toes while walking (at 8 months!) and now he's able to flaten out the tfoot and walk well, and comfortably. Luv these shoes!

My little guy loves these shoes!! he pulls them out of his 'shoe corner' every day, this or the other SRT pair he has. They fit, are comfortable and I would get them again and again. We have 2 sizes for the spring/summer as I know his feet will grow.

I love these shoes for my little guy. He is wearing them now. He just started walking and is now running since he got these shoes! They fit him great and allow his feet to 'breathe'! I would recommend to anyone! I'm actually thinking about buying them again in the next size up!

These are perfect. My son is 12 months, and he hates clunky, heavy feeling sandals & shoes. These are the first pair of shoes I've been able to put on him that he didn't try to take off. They are flexible, lightweight, and durable. Love them!
