Very nice looking sandals but the ankle strap is too hard and hurts my baby's feet. I tried to put socks on and give it some time to adjust. No luck. I will have to return them.

Both my 17 month old and I love the style and fit of these sandals but I've had to exchange them twice because the strap completely broke on the first pair and the stitching on the strap came undone on the second pair. For the price I expected much better quality.
When I first put them on her she stepped lightly and ooohhed and aaaahhed over them. You could tell she loved them. The leather is very soft and they have a great cushy sole. We purchased the brown and pink ones and they are very chic with just a hint of bling.

My 22-month old daughter has worn these 4 times now. She started digging black dirt. I thought the shoes would be ruined. They cleaned up perfectly!! I was told by the Stride Rite store sandals run 1/2 size larger than their close-toed shoes. I would say that is true with their shoes sizes. Get your child measured at any store even if there is not a Stride Rite around. Allow a half-size extra for thumb's width. That is the smallest size you should get in their sandals. Add another half-size for closed shoes. This allows growing room for 3-4 months at least.
