A Must Have if your child has wide feet!

My son is now 3 and has always had wide feet. I found this shoe and have purchased it each time his foot grows. This shoe lasts a very long time. My son wears them to school everyday and they are not as worn as they should be. I totally recommend this shoe especially for wide foot kids.

My son is 2 1/2 and wears a size 8W. Saucony sneakers are the best shoe for him, they always fit great. Many of the SRT brand shoes are too narrow in the - top - toe area of the shoe. These are great, plus they run about a half size short in length and are somewhat rounded (not too pointy) in the toe area which fits him well. He's an 8W right now but wears these in an 8.5W. They're durable too, they stand up to a toddler running, jumping, climbing, and stumbling, just all around great shoes.

Thank you for having extra wide shoes for my Grandson. They are almost impossible to find. This is our 2nd pair, just in a bigger size. They last forever and He thinks he can run faster because of his new shoes!

Ordered online after printing off the sizing chart and they fit great. My 5 year old son loves them! He's very hard on shoes so the real test will be how long they last - though the last pair of Saucony's we bought were great!

I have 2 boys, both need XW shoes, so they are pretty much Stride Rite kids as far as shoes go. I used to get these all the time and they last about as long as my kids can fit into them. We did try the Slingshot brand (they boys liked the look of them), but those fell apart very quickly, the first time, stride rite gave us replacement shoes. After the second time, they asked me to chose another type, so we went back to these and again, I was not dissapointed. Customer service was excellent. The stitching does tend to come apart at the toes, but my boys are very hard on their shoes. Overall, we will continue with this shoe until we outgrow them. Note: they run small so we have to buy a full size up on them.

My 2 year old son didn't wear these shoes more than a two months before the stiching came out of the toe on the right shoe and now the left shoe stiching is coming out. I would have expected better quality.
