Great shoe, terrible sole

We got these for my five-year-old son. Love the way they look. He likes the way they feel and can put them on himself. They can be dressed up or down. We purchased them in August for school and by October the sole had worn all the way down to the foam underneath in several spots. Our son is very active, but there's no reason his shoes should only last three months.

My son just got these boots and finds them very comfortable and I like the way they look.
