Narrow for being regular width

The shoes are very nice looking shoes! I purchased them for my 5yr old, but when they came to my house, the were very narrow. I should have purchased the wide width for his foot. I am keeping the shoes for future use for my younger son, who has narrower feet.

My toddler has always had a wide foot. We ordered this shoe in a 8.5 wide. There's not a lot of selection in this size, so I was happy to find something that looked nice. The shoe is well made. It's very sturdy and less flexible than some athletic shoes, but my 2 year old son requests to wear them so I assume they are very comfortable.

The shoes are a great fit for my little one. He has a small heel and walks out of most shoes, but this one he does not. The stabilizer insole is also a great help for his unsteadiness that he has due to a disability. The style doesn't really go with sporty outfits, but the benefits outweigh the style. This has been a great shoe!!

I bought these online for my son for uhis 2nd birthday and the wide size was still not wide enough. I have to really struggle to get his foot down in the shoe. I'm considering returning them.

Great shoes! My son's feet are on the narrow side and the ties allow to tighten them sufficiently. Nice amount of flexibility in the soles too. Can be used to dress up or down.

Attractive and comfortable shoe

I bought these intending them to be an everyday shoe for my 2.5 year old son, but I decided to keep them as a nicer shoe and get him some sneakers to wear every day. This was for two reasons -- 1) these shoes are really very nice looking and can be used as a dress shoe. We spend a lot of time outdoors, and I didn't want him to get them muddy and worn out. 2) I hadn't realized (my fault) that they were lace-ups. I thought they had stretchy laces or a toggle or something. I don't need to be retying a 2 year old's laces all day long! I just didn't look at the photo closely enough, and i had just seen some others that had a toggle. But these come with fairly long laces which, of course, did come untied on the first day despite being tied with a double bow.
My son is clearly very comfortable in them, and they look great, so I highly recommend this shoe, but not necessarily as an everyday shoe for a small child.

Once again, very good product. Have bought my Grandson a new pair for the winter...He never complains about wanting to take them off all time like he does sometimes with other shoe brands. This is his second pair and they never wear out, he just outgrows them.
