I ordered the gray pair for my 4 year old and he loves them! His foot is borderline wide, so I usually try shoes on to see if he need a wide or regular width. Since I ordered these and couldn't try them on I went with the regular width and they fit perfectly. Always love Stride Rite shoes.

I got the grey ones for my 3 year old. They look so cute on him! They're easy for him to get on/off. Actually, they are easy for all of us to get on/off. They look great with a variety of outfits and colors too. I'm so happy I bought these for him!!

This shoe is perfect....casual or dressy clothes. My son loves the light up feature! He normally wears a wide but this one fit in the regular width. Great shoe! Love the colors!

I always buy Stride Rite shoes for my boys and this is the first pair that I have been disappointed with. The color rubbed off the rubber edges in just 10 wearings. Also, the back of one of the shoes is broken and my son has been wearing them less than 2 months. In 5 years, I have never had a Strite Rite shoe perform so poorly.

Good looking and perfect shoe for the fall. Fit seems perfect on length and my son has not complained about them. He also seems to be able to run well with them. My son wears WIDE shoes and although we got the 8.5 W, these seem a little narrower than other wide shoes. Maybe it's because suede/leather is stiiffer than other materials. Overall they still fit, so that's ok. Another minor detail, the strap does NOT have the little metal decorative button like on the photo, it is embossed instead.

My lil guy has quite wide feet so I was surprised he fit into a medium width in this shoe. We purchased them from a children's specialty shoe store so I know they got the fit right. Historically, he's always worn a wide. These were the only pair (of the 5 he tried on) that he didn't yell to have them taken off...in fact he took right off running around the store in them. They are so cute and very versatile. He's worn these with shorts and jeans, thick and thin socks. Quality shoe too.

Another great product! My son has a slightly narrow foot altough measures average width. This shoe fits fine due to the adjustable straps. I'm assuming he's comfortable . He has never complained about them and wears them with thinner dress socks. It is what I call a dress shoe so it's a little more rigid then a sneaker. Appears to be made well.

These shoes are very cute and the leather appears to be high quality. My son has a wide foot with a high arch. We bought the shoes in wide, but they are still a little tight when putting them on his feet. The velcro straps allow me to adjust it so that the shoes are not too tight on his arches; otherwise, I would have returned them. Overall a high-quality, good looking shoe, but maybe not the best fit for high arches.

Great shoe but runs narrow

Compared to other Stride Rite sneakers, this particular model runs a bit narrow. My 2 yr old son usually wears a 8.5 W (measured at the store) and this shoe seems tight on him, I can't close the velcro tabs all the way, only half way, and I have to completely open the shoe in order for his feet to slide in. It also seems a little stiff compared to another pair of SR sneakers he wears in the same size and width. I'm usually happy with this brand but not with this particular model. If your child has a larger/wider foot than most kids, find a different model. Otherwise, it's a great-looking shoe.

Even though my son measures as a narrow, and we got these shoes in a wide, they still seem too narrow. It's always difficult to get the shoes on, and my son hates when he has to wear them. I'm very disappointed, especially since they're so darn expensive.

Disappointed with look of shoe. Original picture on website showed the shoe to be black and gray with leather and suede like the brown shoe, but shoe received was all leather and black.. After I recieved the shoes, I checked the web site and they had changed the picture.

Stride Rite SRT's were recommeded and we are glad we bought them. We have a very active 3 year old and the shoe does not wear down. This is our 3rd pair. We will continue to buy the shoe because the quality is excellent!
