Made for a narrow foot.

PostedNovember 13, 2011
Love this shoe... this is the second of this type purchased. Well made and looks good. BUT we have a toddler with a narrow foot. Not that common. And I still ordered the wide width in order for the shoe to fit normal. But for a child with a normal to wide foot, I can see where this shoe would not be a good fit. I would only recommend a wide width in this shoe and only for a normal or narrow foot.

beware ! this shoes looks great and it does look good at first...
its very very narrow and hard to get on and off!
we ordered 1/2 size bigger and wide width...
my 3yr cant get them on with out help and
they so narrow its tough to get on and off!
plus the straps are narrow too,you have to line up just right in order to close correctly and they dont stay closed..
There were issues with the tounge inside being folded over .
Along with the blue on the outside of one shoe was smooth and the other shoe was textured. one shoe had a loop on the back the other did not . making it not look like a high end shoe
more like a kmart blue light special!
think twice before you purchase! BEWARE
Hey if your foot is super narrow this just might be the one for you.
It took an entire month from the time we placed the online order until we had a useable shoe! in which case we had to choose a differant style.

I am a big fan of Stride Rite shoes but this shoe did not fit my son well. We have so much trouble getting them on his feet that now I regret every buying them. The Velcro closure is also hard to put together. Wish I kept the receipt :(

Not for wide feet

Shoes looked narrow in the box, even though labeled wide. The closure did not give much in order to put shoe on and actual shoe was much too narrow to get on without serious squish, so these are going back.
Would love to know if my experience was unique or if other parents of wide footed toddlers felt the same.
