I gave the shoe 4 stars because although the comfort and durability is excellent, I really don't like the color! I love the pink, but I'm not a fan of the silver. I gave into my 3 year old because she absolutely LOVED the lights! She wore them all through winter and she was very sad when she grew out of them. Since Spring is here we have bought her Mary Jane light up shoes from Stride Rite and they are so pretty according to me! This shoe would have been perfect if it was all pink with silver accents rather than the other way around. But if you were to ask my 3 year old she would tell you they are awesome!

It's so pretty and comfort. My daught loves it. I purchased this sneaker in the store, so I only found the width m,my daughter tried it up and it seemed to be little narrow, so got one larger 1 size for her, my daught has worn for 2 months, it's still perfect. We love it.

Love these shoes

I purchased these for my 4 year old and she loves them. Even grown women have made comments about how pretty they are. They are easy for her to put on herself and she loves how they light up. I've had no issues with the quality so far, it's been about a month. Overall we've been happy with this purchase.

I bought these for my 5 yr old about 1 month ago. She has only been wearing them for a few weeks and the other day I noticed the lights on one of the sneakers wouldnt turn off. Now its completely out. I read the same reviews on the Mary Jane version of this sneaker and this is truly disappointing for $49.50!! Of course my daughter is very dissapointed, and I cant say that I blame her.

I purchased two pairs one in each color for my twin girls that are 4 years old. They are both princess fans, so I thought these would be the perfect shoe for them. After a week of minimal use both pairs started falling apart. The soles starting coming apart on the tip and side of the shoes. Very poor quality and for the price you would expect better. I did not try to return these shoes, as I got these for a replacement of previous boots that I had bought and had a similar problem. It's sad to see nice shoes go to waste and money out of my pocket..

I have been shopping Stride Rite for years and these are the worst shoes I ever purchased there. The sole came off after 2 days, seemed unglued. Returned them and the second pair had the same problem, called the company they offered to change them again but at this point I was done with them. I am sorry to say the quality is really bad but they are cute and they do light up nicely. The material is NOT what you are used to if you are a Stride rite affecionado, cheap and fragile. I would not recommend them.

My daughter love light up shoes so I got this shoes for her within 1 week the front sole came loose and I have to take back to exchange it. Same thing happen to the 2nd pair too. I have been shopping at Stride Rite for years and for that price and POOR quality...... :(

I have no idea what is going on with Stride Rite shoes, I have always been able to order my granddaughter's size in wide and they fit great.
I have recently order 2 very different pairs of tennis shoes and both of them were the right size, were great in the width, but they weren't "deep" enough. The velcro strap was too short and would not fasten. Do you have a new manufacturer for your shoes?
I am not very happy with Stride Rite right now.

My daughter wore these shoes to and from dance class (not during the class) and they had scratches in them. We have always bought Stride Rite, but these are a waste of money. I will be taking them back tomorrow and demanding a refund. I can't imagine what would happen if she actually played in them.

I bought a pair because they were so cute and my daughter has narrower feet and they fit well. As soon as I got home before she even wore them out of the house, one of the straps broke off from the shoe. the stitching fell apart on the side holding the shoe together. I bought them on vacation so I can't go back to return them so I'm just annoyed I threw away $50+.

Nice shoe, but go up a size!

These are hard to rate since they are just too small. My daughter can wear the 11.5 W in the Preschool Macie or the Glitzy Pets, but she will need at least the 12 in these. I sure hope they fit, because there are no larger sizes! We had a similar problem with the Mel Lighted and never could get them in a 12W. My princess was disappointed that they didn't fit, but this time they do have the 12 in stock, so I'll reorder. My daughter is only four so SR might want to consider carrying these styles in size 1 also. She will like Disney Princesses for at least another year or two.
