Within 2 weeks of purchase, one of the lights stopped flashing and was permanently on, and this is a BRIGHT light. We thought that it couldn't last for long, but it's been 6 months and the light is still on! However, within 2 months of wear, my 4 year old daughter had destroyed these shoes...the straps were in multiple pieces, the soles were worn out, the inserts would not stay in place, and there were holes in the top. For the $$ these shoes cost I expected more. Not up to typical stride rite quality!

Great Shoes!

I purchased one pair for each of my daughters at the end of March and they're still going strong. My girls put their shoes through the ringer (wearing them to playgrounds with sand and wood chips, running on grass, climbing on rocks, etc.) and the shoes still light up and look great! My older daughter is the more pickier one and these are her shoes of choice when she goes out. They go with almost everything my girls wear. I would definitely buy these shoes again.

Horrible shoes for striderite! My daughter loves the look of these princess shoes but I hate the quality of them. The glue on the soles of the shoes is very cheap and the soles in all the stride rite stores that I have been to come out, even the displays! Terrible quality

We bought them online thinking they will have the "stride rite" quality. WHAT A MISTAKE. They are cute and light up quite well but they are so poorly made, cheap materials and cheap quality definitely not worth the money

I give it two stars because my little girl likes pink shoes. Nevertheless the shoes are poorly made. The shoes have light issues and the insole of the shoes comes off when ever my daughter takes them off. I have to re adjust them again and put them back in their place. I payed alot of money for these shoes i would expect them to be well made. I like stride rite shoes but i'm dissapointed with Disney coming out with cheap product.

Bought a pair for my granddaughter and she just loves them. They wear well at preschool and on the playgrounds! They go with jeans or dressy clothes. She loves them and wears them all the time. The lights fascinate her and make her laugh. hey are sturdy and very comfortable.

I have just ordered a second pair of these shoes for my daughter because her first pair were torn up by the new puppy. She LOVES these shoes and wears them just about everyday!! They are cute and her lights are still lighting up 4 months after we got them, despite her constant jumping and stomping her feet to get them to light up.

This happens with a lot of Disney products, I find. My daughter has wide feet, and other stride rite W size shoes fit her perfectly. I got her an 11W in these and they are even narrower than other "M" (normal width) shoes. They are also more like a 10 1/2. They're gorgeous and I got them because my daughter LOVES the princesses and that they light up, but she complained about them being uncomfortable as soon as she put them on her feet.

We also had these 2 weeks before the main light in the middle became permanently stuck in the on position...would have bought another for the next size up assuming ours was a fluke, but will pass now that I see I'm not the only one!

My daughter loves these shoes. We have had them for two weeks now and the light up lights will not turn off. Intend of flashing they have become flashlight shoes. They brighten up the room. I am sure that eventually the lights will burn out.
