Buying another pair
PostedSeptember 20, 2012
What age(s) are your children? 5
My 5 year old got these in April and has worn them all summer. She has played in them a lot and they have held up great. They are very soft and she likes to wear them. I am buying another pair now in a size up for next summer.
I bought 2 pairs of these for my 2 girls. Both flowers fell off within 2 wears of the shoes. This is the second time this year that I have had to return multiple pairs of shoes to stride rite because of lack of quality. This is the reason that I go to stride rite. I am very disappointed.

Flower Button Does Not Stay On

After wearing it twice, the metal flower button came off. I tried to sew it back on, but it fell off again and now it is lost. Luckily, our local store is replacing the shoe, but the button will need to be reinforced by a cobbler. Maybe it would be better to pick a different shoe. They need to think of a better way to embellish this shoe.
Comfortable enough for the playground and dressy enough for going out or even Church! They go with everything, love them!

Nice but not sturdy

Overall this is a nice shoe and I was pleased it is available in wide-width. The color and fit are good, but the construction is lacking. After the first wear the flower button came off and was difficult to sew back on. I don't think of this as a "dress" sandal, it should be able to stand up to normal wear and use.
