I am very disappointed in this shoe. the right one quit working a week after we bought it. It is unfortunate, because my son LOVED the look of these shoes. Now, he just stomps really hard on the right one to make it light up. Doesn't work.

My Kid loves this shoe. HE out grew the last pair, so i had to get anohter pair. He wears these everyday. We try to get him to switch shoes, but he keeps wearing these. :)

My 4 yr old just loves these shoes. He was torn between these Spider-Man ones and the other style that he had seen at the store. When I received an e-mail that these ones were on sale for almost half price I made the decision for him. Neither one of us has any regrets. Everywhere we go he gets comments on his shoes which thrills him no end!

This shoe looks great and fits well. But my son has worn them for just shy of three weeks and both lights on one shoe are dead and one light on the other is dead as well already. I'm going to take them back and see if I can exchange them. Buyer beware!

Our 3 year old absolutely loves these shoes. We were torn when deciding which of the Marvel shoes to purchase. In the end we chose the Spider Man because the eyes lit up. No regrets here!

I bought these shoes for my 3 yr old son in August because he loved them.... Mid September one shoe wasn't lighting up so I exchanged them for a new pair hoping they were just defective. Then on Halloween one eye on each shoe no longer worked so I returned them. my son was really disappointed. I have never had a problem with stride rite shoes til now but for $56 they should last longer than a month.

My 3 year old picked out these sneakers because they light up. It was also a bonus that they are Spiderman. He loves these shoes. These are very nice quality. The only problem is that the lights no longer work. He has worn these sneakers for a few months. Other light up sneakers we have still lit up well after he grew out of them.

Made for Little a Little Super Hero

My 3 y.o. son LOVES these shoes (and so does his preschool classmates)!! As soon as we got them on his feet he would'nt stop making the eyes light up. When ever we are out, we get a ton of compliments.
The only downfall is the white trim on the bottom of the shoes gets very dirty in the mulch at my sons school so I feel like I need to wipe them off more than other shoes.
Other than that these are really COOL SHOES!!!

We loved these so much we bought two pairs, one for now and one in the next size up. They are very comfy. I noticed one person had comfort issues, but she had bought the shoes a full size too big. I think the normal thing to do is buy a half size big if you want room to grow. Nate loves his shoes, and it's a conversation starter for him. He loves to show people how the eyes light up. We have always bought stride rite shoes with light-up technology and have never had any problem with the lights quitting working. We have yet to find a higher quality shoe.

homemaker Lights stopped after 1 month

Bought them for our 4yr old- went to Stride Rite becuase of the quality associated w/the name. To bad the shoe doesn't fit that reputation!
After just 1month of almost continuous wear, he would have slept w/them on had we let him! ALL lights stopped working except 1, & that one stayed on continuously. The staff at the mall store were great! I was able to exchange the shoes for an identicial pair. Knock on wood so far so good!

These sneakers are adorable and perfect for my 3 year old son. He loves Spiderman and has been showing them off since we got them. He says they are comfortable and has not had any issues as far as tightness nor has he been complaining. I almost feel the need to buy a 2nd pair as I know these will get well worn in QUICK! Definite buy.

My grandson saw these on a child. He kept saying how much he wanted some just like his. He is 3 1/2 years old. I thought they were pretty incredible looking. So did I. We always buy Stride Rite shoes as they are built so well.I googled to find the shoes and here they were. He was thrilled when they came in the mail. He couldn't wait to get to daycare and show all his friends. They were a hit! People stop us out in public, everyone asks about the shoes and where to buy them. I plan to buy again when he needs a new size. He has no complaints and loves them. May be slightly big but he was growing and stuck in that in between size. They are perfect now. Love them!!!!!!!!!!!

My son loved these sneakers when he received them for his birthday in December 2011. By February 2012 the lights on one sneaker were no longer working. I am disappointed that the lights worked for less than two months. Not worth the money.
