My 5 year old loves all things Iron Man. When I saw these shoes, I knew he'd flip (and, in fact, he did). Although they seemed a bit wide and bulky when I first pulled them out of the box, they actually fit him quite comfortably; and, they are very well made -- which i've come to love and expect from Stride Rite -- as compared to other character products we've experienced! The velcro is also quite tight, so he has a bit of trouble taking them off, but overall, i would highly recommend for the quality alone. He loves them.

My five year old, who is thin otherwise, has wide feet and high arches. Shoes from Payless, Target and Puma all fit horrible. The last of the three actually rubbed his toes raw. This shoe fits like it was made for him. The velcro is almost too strong as he has trouble getting it loose sometimes, but this only means the shoe stays on securely. My low rating for style is because the shoe appears massive and bulky on his feet and because we needed a wide shoe we were very limited in our choices of light-up shoes in his width and size.

My son LOVES these shoes. They fit him well, he can get them on and off by himself with no issue. I hope these last him awhile, like the rest of his Stride Rite shoes.
