Not good for a wide foot

I ordered this shoe because my 4 year old loves purple and sparkle. She is not able to get them on by herself. She also says they are too tight (ordered Wide). Her old Stride Rite shoes (Wide) she could get on by herself, but they have a much wider base. The shoes are super cute, but I would not order these again for my daughter.

The stitching came apart around the toe when they were only a month old. I like SR shoes but these were not durable for my 4yr old daughter. I found the T-style shoe at the toe lasts longer and is more durable for my kids.

I purchased these shoes for my three-year-old. They looked absolutely adorable and she loved how they lit up. She had only worn them four times (for short periods of time) before the threads holding together the velco strap together started coming unraveled and the strap started falling apart. They also started to look somewhat dingy and worn very quickly...my daughter is not hard on her shoes at all and really has not worn them outside very much. For how much one pays for Stride Rite shoes, I am very disappointed in the overall quality of this shoe. The quality of a product should match the expensive price one is paying!!

Great Everyday Shoe for my Preschooler!

Easy on and easy off, this shoe is working out great for my 4 year old. She is in the independent stage and loves the fact that she doesn't need to ask for help to put her shoes on. They're flexible and they have great arch support. My daughter has a very long but, skinny foot and I've always strayed away from velcro because of that. However, this shoe has worked out great for her. We ordered a medium width and there's no slipping in the heel. I would definitely order her another pair.

My five year old was so excited when she opened the box. They arrived quickly and she was so excited. She loves the light up feature and the glittery colors. Perfect for a pink loving girly girl!

While this shoe was a big hit with our 4 1/2 year old daughter when we purchased it, it wore out quickly. It is NOT durable at all. The second day she wore it was to day school. It came back looking like we had paid $2 for it at a consignment sale. The pretty and sparkly colored area is impossible to clean. And after just a month of wear most of the lights have quit working. And after two months of wear the colored part is peeling away from the front silver part so that you can stick a finger in it. And the front toe area is peeling. They look HORRIBLE! And our daughter is not that rough with her shoes. She has had other Stride Rite shoes that stayed nice the whole time she had them. These are just poorly made! I was hoping these would last her until her foot grew and we had to purchase another pair. Now we have to purchace another pair early. I will never purchase this style shoe again. I would not reccomend them to anyone!

I bought these shoes for my 2.5 year old daughter. She loves purple and that they light up. We dont usually buy her wide but because she has a flat foot they said a wide might fit better. The shoes are definatly not wide they fit her like her regular width shoes maybe even tighter, she says they hurt her baby toe. So I would suggest if your kids have a wide foot than these are not the shoes for you!

My daughter has a wide foot and these fit her great. I had to order online because the store did not have the wide width in stock. I do wish they would carry more wide width in the stores but they are great. I got them in just a few days.

I bought these shoes for my child who has ankle issues. She has very wide feet and Stride Rite is the only brand that can properly deliver shoes that can accommodate her feet and still look cute.
I bought her these shoes today and she was fitted for them. I noticed after leaving the store they seem a tad too tight, although the length of the shoe fits well.
I may bring them back but I am going to give it another day to decide, my daughter says they do not hurt her feet.
Everyone loves them and we got lots of compliments walking into her daycare today. Love the price and style but I am not sure I love the fit.

My daughter is 2.5 and got these shoes (pink and white ones) about a month ago. She has yet to complain about the comfort and the materials don't seem stiff and made of plastic. She wears them to preschool and plays outside and they still look nice.

My daughter loves these sneakers and loves the compliments she gets everywhere she goes! They run about a half size too small so take that into account when ordering. The sneakers are also a little stiff at first but break in nicely yet remain sturdy. The fit is similar to the Sierra which are her previous sneakers but I like having two velcro straps on each shoe instead of one as it makes getting the sneakers on and off easier. Great shoes for a little girl and are adorable to boot!

Please save your money, these shoes are not what you expect, very uncomfortable, hard material (plastic) and definetely not good quality. Very disappointed in stride rite, the shoes look nice but they will hurt feet and lokk old in just a week of light use
