You get what you pay for

I bought these on clearance and paid a cheap price for them.. They have lasted longer than the other light up shoes I have bought for full price. The velcro is working fine. My son has wide fat feet so they are a little tough for getting on but overall- no blisters or complaints from him.
For the clearance price, it was worth it and a good deal-

DO NOT BUY THESE SHOES

These shoes will not last. After 2 weeks they looked terrible. Shredded around the outer ankle. These were hard to get on even with my assistance. Of course I read the terrible reviews after my purchase and I did notice the inside did not seem to have much support as someone else posted.

We had these shoes for about a month and a half before the velcro started peeling off...on both shoes!!! Poorly made!

Quick to wear out

I bought these for my son because we always buy Stride Rite shoes. He is 6, and this is the first time I have been unsatisfied. The shoes began to wear out within 2 weeks. Now after 2 months they will no longer velcro and the sides around the ankle are coming apart. Not sure of the quality of this shoe compared to other Stride Rite shoes. These do not hold up.

Bad shoe

I bought the first pair as school shoes. Within 2 months they fell apart, the Velcro came apart, the sole came apart. Stride Rite replaced them with another pair free of charge. The second pair has done the same thing, I'll have to replace them with a different style. I usually have very good luck with Stride Rite shoes, this one was just very poorly made. Do not buy this shoe unless you want to turn around and replace them.

I bought it in October for my son's physical education, but two months after the viscose on hook-and-loop turned out.

Not even worth the sale price

My 8 year old wears a size 2 M of this shoe. We received them and they looked nice. He doesn't like light up shoes, he just wanted a simple shoe.
Within a week, the grey fabric on top of the heel structure of one shoe was shredding! He's not that hard on shoes, they generally last him a year. Also, and worst of all, they have ABSOLUTELY NO SUPPORT. His foot was breaking down the arch area within 2 weeks!! Like, his knees were even turning in! There is NO arch support (or fabric support in the shoe structure) at all. Why doesn't a shoe for an older kid have arch support?! Went in garbage after 1 month, they looked much older than that. Have switched brands for his shoes.
