I got these for my twin 16 month old girls a few weeks ago and love seeing them running around in them. I agree with some other reviewers that the shoes are a bit hard to get on initially. But they definitely loosen up with wear.

I ordered these for my daughter who was just begining to walk. They are very attractive and must be comfy because she will wear them all day. She has been wearing them for a couple of months and they still looks great. I love stride rite shoes.

This shoe runs short so go up a full size. I learned that the hard way since this was an online purchase. It has soft leather and a cushiony insole for my new to walking little one. both styles I purchased are well made and seem to be comfy for my baby. Might be hard to get on quickly for some moms, but if you pull the tongue out and widen it all the way you can easily slip baby's foot in.

These were great first shoes for my daughter while she was learning to walk. They worked with every outfit, even the ones that weren't pink. She never pulled them off and they lasted through some serious wear. They have finally worn out and we are getting the next size up!

This was the first "real" pair of shoes for my 14 month old granddaughter. She has been wearing baby flipflops all summer. The first pair of Bambis were too tight although the other pair of shoes purchased at the same time fit just right. We shipped the too-tight ones back and ordered a new pair 1/2 size larger. They fit well. Stride rite needs to move the sizing chart to the front page of the web site where it is more easily found to avoid the sizing problems like this. I ended up paying $11 to ship the wrong-sized ones back and that was a disappointment. Maybe I would have been better off at a retail store but there are none that carry SR within 50 miles of me. All in all, I am pleased with the purchase and will purchase again.

Cute but a bit hard to get on....

My daughter wears a size 5 (1 year old) and I though these were really cute and would match a lot of things which they do....however I find it a bit difficult to get on. She does not have wide feet (they measured in store ) - I thought they would loosen up a bit since they were new but they haven't.
I love the look - but I don't like getting them on her (and she loves putting shoes on) I also bought the Dream I think its called its a silver shoe and those are FAB super easy to get on.
I think the elastic on these is what makes it hard for the on and off.
