My son loves it

My son first got a pair as a gift from his aunt. When that pair wore out, he particularly wanted me to buy him another same pair. I got to say the original price is a little high but we got this sales price. So I bought two pairs at different sizes for him to grow into. He now doesn't want his other brand name shoes but just this. He said because it is lighter. I don't quite like the colors (too bright) but I guess kits like it, and that's all it matters anyway :-) I wonder now we will switch to this brand for a while.
I noticed other comments and have the same feeling that the shoes are little narrower. My son has narrow feet but his first pair from my sister was a "W" and I was wondering why. So this time I bought "W" as well. It just fits, otherwise, if I bought the "M", it would be too narrow for his "narrow" feet. So buy a wider than usual pair. I guess my sister knows the trick there.

lightweight and comfortable

We had never tried this brand (we always buy Stride-Rite), but this shoe fit well. It's for our 9-year-old boy, and he liked the silver-blue style. The shoe fits as sized, but may be a bit narrow. It is lightweight because it has a different kind of cushioning and sole that the usual Austin Stride-Rite we buy. No complaints after several weeks of wearing it.

Good shoe

I feel comfortable with Saucony's quality for a busy, athletic child. They are lace-ups so keep that in mind if your child struggles with keeping shoes tied. The grey with blue trim are somewhat colorful but the trend now is the more color, the better, so these rate adequate for color. ;) Fit seems fine. Some people say Saucony's run small but I didn't find that in these.

Nice style but small!

I ordered these because my son liked them. I ordered the same size as his Stride Rite sneakers, but these were way too small & narrow. He could barely get his foot in. We'll be sticking to the Stride Rite brand...size consistency is important, especially when ordering online & you can always count on it from Stride Rite.
