This shoe is stylish and comfortable. We can wear them with dress pants or shorts. My experience with ordering them from striderite was very easy and I appreciate that since I'm a very busy mom.

My son says he loves these shoes because they are very comfortable (and he is into style as well...he loves looking "sharp".) His only complaint seems to be that they "eat" his shorter socks which is easily solved by wearing crew socks vs. ankle ones. He has no problem running/playing in them, and they are very versatile with many kinds of clothing. I did spray them with leather waterproofing spray to extend the wear of them. They seem to be weathering everything a 7 yr old boy can throw at them. I have no complaints.

Great pair of shoes

What age(s) are your children? 8
My review is based on my son's words. He loves the shoes and says they fit just right. I purchased them one size larger and I think they fit him properly. He loves to wear them and has been very careful not to wear them on wet days. We are not sure if the weather would change the look of the leather or not. As a parent I find these shoes sharp and can go with just about anything.
