These shoes have been worn with almost every outfit, whether it's casual school clothing or dressy Christmas dress. My daughter has a wide foot so I bought the W size for her and she loves the fit. I love that the silver can match everything. She wears these with tights or socks and I'm buying the next two sizes up now!
My daughter (4.5 years old) loves this shoe. We bought it in burgandy, and she wears them almost every day. We just bought the next size up in silver. She wears them with socks, and I think they are perfect for wearing to preschool.
The shoes look very sweet and are either just right or a little big. I had also ordered the red Trista's. The size difference was maybe a half size. So either the Trista's run a tad small or the Amanda runs a tad big. Either way we are thrilled with both pairs as they were for different children they both seem to be happy and have not complained about the sizing.

Very cute shoes - But too wide for my girl's feet!

My 4-year old daughter has narrow feet, but typically does fine with Medium-width Stride Rites ... Not this time! The toe of this shoe is VERY wide, and there were gaping holes between the shoe and her foot. They weren't even close to fitting her, so we had to send them back.
We have these in the plum color and the silver and they're very cute shoes. The silver isn't as shiny so it goes with more outfits and my daughter loves them both. I would have rather loved the plum more if it wasn't as shiny. They're more for dressy occassions.
