So cute, but the tounge design is awful!

I think these shoes are adorable and my toddler LOVES to put them on -- ABBY! ABBY! But there is something wrong with the tounge design. I have never had this issue with any other Stride Rite Sneakers, but the tounge eventutally works it's way out between the velcro straps. It doesn't matter how tight you make them, it moves out as they run and play. I find myself fixing them all day. This is a huge bummer. I just gave these to her 2 weeks ago...I don't know if I want to deal with this until she grows out of them.

Tongue Slips Down

These are really cute sneakers but the tongue will not stay put. It slips down below the velcro straps and also bulges at the sides. It's annoying to have to keep fixing the tongue. I'm finding myself hesitating to put these sneakers on my daughter when she gets dressed in the AM because of not wanting to deal with fixing the tongue multiple times throughout the day.

I bought these sneakers for my grand daughter. She has been taking her shoes off until she wore these sneakers. Now the sneakers stay on, and she runs in them! the flexible sole makes it easy for babies when they first start walking, and apparently running! Not to mention, they are adorable!

Cute but the tongue slips down

My daughter loves these shoes and I think they're adorable. The only issue with them is that the tongue is not sewn to the shoe at all on the sides, so it very quickly slides down and bulges up between the two straps. I may return them based on that, but my daughter will be heartbroken.

I've been searching for Abby Cadabby shoes in my daughter's size ever since she could walk but had a hard time finding them. I guess these are a new style and I love them more than I did the first ones I saw! My daughter loves the shoe and they're so cute you can dress them with a dress or a more casual look. Stride Rite has always made excellent shoes and definitely worth the price! Very good quality!
