My daughter falls a lot so some of the rubber is coming off but that would happen with any shoe. These just look so cute on her! Love them!

We had to purchase these shoes online because they literally had NO shoes in my daughter's size in the store when we went. Had we been able to try them on in person, I'm not sure we would have purchased them. As other reviewers have said, the tongue moves and always seems to uncomfortably fall down. It's not only a functional issue, though; because the tongue does not stay in place, it looks worn out and old even though she's only had the shoes about 2-3 weeks!
I will say the shoes are easy to put on and take off - the last pair of stride rites we bought my daughter were really difficult to put on. But I guess that's the exchange: the previous pair lasted way longer because they were better structured.

As many have said the tongue on this product is a problem. It is rubbing the top of my daughters foot. I have tried adjusting the velcro to get it to stay put but it slides and bunches up. These are not worth the money or the time you spend repeatedly fixing the tongue.

These shoes are very cute and comfortable. My toddler seems to enjoy them. I agree with other reviewers about the tongue slipping. The tongue doesn't sit under the velcro straps smoothly and needs to be repositioned at times. It wouldn't prevent me from recommending the shoes, but it is a design flaw.

I know that many people said that they had issues with the tongue sliding, but have not had any problems. My daughter loves these shoes and runs around in them and seems comfortable.

i started purchasing stride rites when my child started walking, i would never choose any other shoe, we will be sticking with stride rites for awhile, i have bought other very cute shoes, tennis shoes, and mary janes from big names, but what i discovered is those shoes seem so clunky, and stiff, hard to break in, with stride rites we really do not have that problem, the shoes are light weight and flexible and my new little walker is able to navigate without clunking and tripping, also on the inside the insoles come out so you can measure your childs foot yourself, making ordering online and looking for a size a breeze, sorry this review is so long, but there so so much good to say about this shoe/brand, i love no other little shoe:)

I was so excited to get these for my daughter who LOVES Minnie. These shoes are super cute! However, just like all the other reviews before...the tongue slips down in the shoe seconds after putting them on her feet. She doesn't seem bothered by it, but its frustrating. I contacted Stride Rite and they were very receptive to my dissatifaction with this shoe. We have been buying shoes at Stride Rite for years now and will continue to do so. I just hope they come up with a better design/style for this shoe!

I bought these for my 2 1/2 year old. They are super cute and seem to fit her well but the tongue of the shoe does not stay in place at all. I am constantly having to fix it. Not worth the money at all. Had I known, I would have gladly purchased a different pair that wouldn't give us this problem.

Just like the other reviewers I would recommend not buying theses shoes unless you don't mind constantly adjusting the tongue since it doesn't stay in place. My daughter loved them because they're Minnie but I ended up returning them. I should've read the reviews first!

I bought these for my 20 month old and she loved them! Just as the other reviewings mentioned, the tongue does NOT stay in play. It gets pushed down into the shoe and its annoying to have to keep fixing. I was able to return them and get another pair of Stride Rites that were cheaper, comfy and the tongue stays in place! If you have already bought, return them to your Stride Rite store and they will label them as "defective".

SOFT YET TROUBLESOME

PURCHASED A PAIR FOR MY 3YR OLD AND SHE LOVES THEM. THEY ARE SOFT AND FLEXIBLE. THE ONLY THING IS THAT I HAVE TO KEEP FIXING THE TONGUE. THE TONGUE KEEPS CREEPING OUT BETWEEN THE STRAPS AND HAVING TO RUN AFTER MY DAUGHTER TO FIX THEM EVERYTIME IS EXHAUSTING.

These shoes are super cute. My little girl LOVES Minnie, so I thought they would be perfect for her. They are easy to get on and off, and they seem very comfortable. BUT...the tongue of the shoe does not stay in place. It bunches up in between the 2 Velcro straps. I think I may be returning these. Unfortunately, I would not recommend them.
