I bought these for my 1 year old for Easter and he loves his Mickey shoes. They are so cute in person. My only complaint is that they seem a little narrow. Its a velcro strap and the bottom one doesnt want to close all the way. My guy doesnt have wide feet, but these are a little snug for him.

Cute, but the tongue slides down all the time

Thought these shoes were adorable when I saw them, but the tongue slips down really easily. My son was very excited and shouted, "Mickey!" when he saw them but tries to tug at them now to get them off sometimes (which he's never really done before with previous Stride rite shoes). Could be a new phase, but I've noticed that the tongue slips down quite a bit. The fit was fine, it's just the design that didn't work for us.

My boy loves wearing these. He tells everyone he comes across "look Mickey" and points at them. They are very well made and the color combination go well together.

Tongue slides down in the shoe

Bought these shoes for my 19 month old because he loves mickey mouse and they are so cute! I didn't read the reviews first about how the tongue slides down between the straps. It only seems to happen when he is really running, but he really runs a lot of the time. He is in the wide size so it has nothing to do with width as another reviewer questioned. He will occasionally stop and touch his shoe and I have to adjust it while on walks outside. They are still really cute for just going out and about, but we are going to have to buy some new shoes for him to actually play in.

My 2 year old son loves Mickey Mouse and I did not hesitate in purchasing these shoes for him. However, we've noticed the tongue keeps slipping and won't stay between the strap causing issues. Eventually they end up bothering my son and we have to reposition. I've bought numerous stride rite shoes and these were the cutest, but worst designed.

The look of the shoe being Mickey Mouse is cute. Our grandson loves them. However, I don't feel they are made as well as the Saucony shoes that I have bought for both grandsons. The material seems a bit plastic and doesn't seem like it is going to hold up.

So, I purchased these for my Mickey- fanatic 2yr old daughter. She did NOT want pink- she wanted these and I agreed only so we could pass them on to her younger brother. I did read the reviews about the shoe's tongue moving down into the shoe and I must agree that it does happen when she's really active, but not to the degree that she's actually bothered. The shoe is very lightweight and seems comfy and sturdy. They're cute, but I wouldn't buy them if I hadn't gotten them on sale. I'm hoping they last for my son too, but unlike every stride-rite shoe I've purchased- these don't have me convinced. :(

I really wanted to buy these for my son as he is a huge Mickey Mouse fan. I'm very disappointed that after spending nearly $50 I have to say I'm not happy with this product. The tongue in the shoe will not stay tucked under the sides. I constantly have to reposition the tongue in the shoe but it never fails to creep back out. Very disappointed int this product.

My son LOVES these shoes because he LOVES Mickey. He just turned two and still has baby chubbo feet, so we have to buy Wide. I was thrilled when I saw these came in Wide. They fit fine, they look fine and the seem to be comfortable. But like other reviewers have posted, the tongue is so frustrating! Within minutes of putting them on, the tongue starts to scooch down until it eventually lowers enough to come out from between the velcro straps. We can't find a way to stop it. Regardless, he has been wearing the shoes a LOT and hasn't complained. Still - I would have preferred better functionality from a tiny shoe that costs more than MY shoes. Please do better next time, Sride Rite! We parents expect a lot from these shoes considering the price!! :)

I got these for my 19 mth old because he LOVES Mickey Mouse. I too had the issue with the tongue and returned them bc I figured he just needed the wide size instead of the M. Im curious if any other posters tried the WIDE vs the M and did the tongue still collapse and bunch up? I'd like to buy the wide but Im hesitant now, having read the reviews.

My 2 1/2 year old is obsessed w/Mickey, so when he saw these shoes he HAD to have them. I took him to our local store to try them on and he measured to fit a 7 1/2. When he tried it on, however, it was too short. They didn't have the 8, so I ordered it online. He loves the shoes because they have Mickey on them ,but the tongue is always falling down and causing discomfort. It's a real pain to always have to fix the tongue of his shoes. Maybe if the velcro straps attached to the tongue through a loop of some sort it would keep it from always falling. Otherwise these would be great.

We've been using striderite from the start. Although other shoes of the same size fit my son wonderful we are having a problem with the tongue constantly buckling and slipping out in these shoes. It just doesn't seem wide enough to keep snug under the edges of the shoe. They look fabulous and fit his feet otherwise but with the tongue popping out it's a pain.

I got these Mickey Mouse Shoes about a week ago for my 15 month old. He loves them. He doesn't try to take them off or show any sign of discomfort. He plays in them all day at his daycare academy. They are easy to put on and comfortable on his feet. They match his uniform and cute(lol). Stride Rite foot wear has never let me down.
