Not fitting quite "rite"

What age(s) are your children? 2
My son was wearing a 4.5 and I wanted to invest in a full size more to 5.5. I got this shoe in a 5.5 Wide and somehow I find it difficult to put onto his foot. I'm not sure how that is but we have to push it on at the heel. His other 4.5 shoe still fits him perfectly, so why would a 5.5 W be so difficult to put on? It's a great shoe other than that.

Stylish and comfy shoe

I purchased a 7.5W for my little guy, to accommodate an orthotic insert that adjusts his foot position. The shoe fits true to size, the width was plenty accommodating, and I like the washable and flexible aspects of this shoe. It is a very lightweight and attractive shoe. I miss the removable insert of the Striderite SRT shoes, and the pull-on tab on the back of one of the shoes ripped partially within a few days, but is doggedly holding up and functioning despite this. Overall it's a nice shoe, not quite in the SRT catagory, but good value and comfort for the price.
