Best summer shoe ever!

I bought these a little big so my son could wear them this summer but he has grown into them a little earlier than expected, so I'll likely buy a second pair of the very same shoe (first time I will have done that for him). GREAT looking shoe and they seem to be very comfortable (I want a pair). AWESOME that they are washable since he wears them w/out socks.

I've always bought Stride Rite for my boys, so I thought these would be great! They are wonderful except for the anti-stink factor. After wearing several times sockless, the sandals made my 18 month old's feet stink. I washed them, and even though they held up great in the washing machine, they still smelled like feet. I wonder what the problem could be, because I've never had this problem before with Stride Rite sandals. I bought the exact same pair for my 3 year old, and those sandals are perfect. No stink!

We've only ever bought Stride Rite for my son. He has wide feet and they always have a great selection. I purchased these for summer, so we haven't actually tried them out but I love the breathability and the style and we've had great success with all of our past shoes that I don't forsee any problems. I love that they are machine washable and anti-stink (incase we want to go sockless). We purchased size 8W and he will turn 2 in May. At which point we will begin to use them.

This is the easiest shoe to get on my little guy. Just 2 straps and he's off running. He does play with the straps a bit but has never taken the whole shoe off because of the lower strap. I want to buy a pair in every size!
