Love these shoes

I'm new a new mom and new to Stride Rite, and I too was extremely hesitant to buy such pricey shoes for my quickly growing little girl. It seems outrageous for the short time she will be able to wear them, but I read that good shoes are essential to their coordination, improved walking, learning to run and that their little toes need the half size larger than they actually are, so that their delicate little piggies dont grow scrunched up. Those precious little toes are mostly cartilage, the bones are still developing. And I have many other pairs of cute shoes from various places, but I realized quickly that she isnt as comfortable, some dont have good traction, and their is no room for her foot to move. Changing her shoes has turned my very active 14 month old walker, into a very active and more comfortable early runner.
Needless to say, we purschased four pair.. and it has been well worth the money,. Watch for the BOGO 50% off sale. Do your little one a favor and get them good shoes!

I was dessapointed when I found out that my daugther needs wide widths shoes...and more dessapointed when we couldn't find in stores shoes for her...She's only 14 months and we are first time parents...We were shoked how expensive the baby shoes are. We were afraid to buy online...But we didn't have another choice. And I'm happy that we found this site. We have a "stride rite"-store in our area, but they don't match the online prices.This pair is for occasions and for every Sunday at church. They are so cute! They are lightweight, flexible and so easy to put on and off...She just learn to walk and I'm happy that we found the best shoes for her.
