After 3 short opportunities to wear these shoes, my daughter soon realized that large chunks of the sequins were completely gone. She hadn't yet had a chance to be hard on them - she wore them once to school and twice to church. She still wears them, but they lose more sequins every time. While she adores how they look and is excited that they fit her wide feet, we're both very disappointed that the shoes look cheap, with large sections of glue exposed at the front of the shoes. I normally expect more from Stride Rite products.

My daughter loves these shoes. She is 9 years old, and not a huge fan of anything open-toed or super trendy. These shoes immediately caught her eye! She would have preferred the multi colored style, but they were not available in wide width. I don't think she cares anymore. She also still likes the security of a strap, and won't even consider a shoe without one! Although I would like it if they were cheaper, I'll definitely choose quality over price, as our last pair of summer shoes from a big box store didn't hold up through the summer.

My 7 year old daughter loves these shoes. we have them in the red and when they came out in white for this spring, I had to pick those up too. She wears them with all of her spring dresses. The elastic strap helps to keep them on since her foot is too narrow for flats without straps yet.
