Great everyday shoes

I got the pink for my 6 year old daughter. I actually ordered 13.5 by accident (I mean to order 13), but since you can adjust the straps they stay on OK. (Straps adjust on the back and front)
My daughter loves these. They are super comfy, and they have a very durable rubber toe which is a must because she drags her feet while riding bikes on the playground. I have sent her to school with other shoes with non-rubber toes and they were destroyed after one day of play.
My one complaint is the velcro straps have stretched so there is not much velcro area left to make contact (if that makes sense). I could probably add more velcro to solve the issue. It might be bc the size is a half size too big so she is having to tighten them more than normal too.

Comfortable but falling apart after four wears.

These were to be my daughter's every day summer shoes. She has only worn them four times (to school) and I noticed they have started to tear. More specifically, the fabric lining on the inside of the heel area of both shoes has torn and has curled down. I've never been disappointed in a pair of Stride Rite shoes until now. It's a shame too because my daughter picked these out herself and according to her they are really very comfortable.
