My 5 year old loves these. They have held up well in the 3 months she has had them and are still lighting up ok. We have not had a problem with the glitter coming off, but she only wears them a few times a week so that probably makes a difference from daily wear. We had to get them in a whole size up from what she was measured at. I like that they are a narrow shoe since she has very thin feet. The colors go with anything and she says they are comfortable. I would recommend them if asked.

My daughter was so excited about these, her first light up shoes. But she's only been wearing them for a short time and most of the glitter is worn off in the areas up by the front of the foot. They look so worn.
I much prefer the all leather shoes we used to be able to get from Stride Rite. The plainer (and more durable) styles don't seem to be available anymore, and I'm disappointed in the quality of these.
