Our 1.5 yr old loves these shoes and they were perfect for a new walker/runner. Durable, they've held up to a lot of scuffing action and other activities. He is steady on his feet in them and we like that they can be a little dressier when needed with chinos or chords.

I recently purchased this shoe for my grandson's they are 18 months and 4 yrs old. They loved them. My 4 yr old immediately put them on as soon as the box arrived. the both wear wide widths these shoes are wide enough, the tongue of the shoe stays down, the velcro strap is long enough to get a good grip. They were a good support shoe for the 18 month old. I bought them both in blue with the white around the back...very cute shoe goes well with jeans..kinda of sporty. All around i am very pleased with the purchase and would definitely recommend them for this age group. The 4 yr old can put them on by himself which is always a plus.

This is my first Stride Rite purchase and won't be my last. It had a great look and fit my son perfectly. It is easy to put on and I love the velcro style.
